Hereford House Zona Rosa - Kansas City

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that feels better in the evening. The prices are on the higher side but they do not sacrifice on quality in that regard. I personally had the 12oz ribeye medium rare with the pepper and blue cheese crust. The few times I’ve been there while it was slow or when they had just opened, I’ve asked if the cook would do a parmesan crust on my steak but unfortunately they have never been willing to accommodate. Regardless of this, the food has always been good however priced and the service well timed. Would recommend.

From reservations to getting the check it was a good. My fiancée had great birthday dinner.

They charged each person in my party (12) to my husband's 50th b-day dinner $9 to eat the cake that I bought somewhere else and brought in. Ridiculous! That cost more than the cake itself! My guests should not have had to pay for any of that. Some didnt even eat cake. Nothing like being invited to a b-day dinner that you have to pay for and also pay to eat and already paid for cake. What a rip-off! And totally embarrassing!!! We should have just gone to Texas Roadhouse....

If you love steak and a great selection of wine, you can’t go wrong.
