Chick-in-waffle - Kansas City

I would rate Chick In Waffle a 3.75 if Google allowed it. This restaurant is a great addition to the Westport main corridor. It was clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful in helping us navigate the menu. The menu includes chicken and waffle combos, fries and chicken combos, and dessert. The chicken was fantastic; my wife and I both ordered something different and were very pleased with the taste. However, the fries were disappointing as they were too mushy with toppings. I believe changing the fries could greatly improve the dish. I was also disappointed by the limited drink options, and suggest adding homemade teas and other beverages. Overall, we will definitely return to try more flavors.

I?ve been twice and both experiences were great. The first time, I got the Spicy Chick. It wasn?t very spicy but a great flavor! It was a combination of siracha and syrup. It would have been even better if the sauce was a little thicker. The chicken could have used a little more seasoning and I didn?t like how the chicken sitting on top of my waffle made that area soggy. But the other parts of the waffle were delicious! It was crunchy were it should have been but also airy and being able to break it off ball by ball was so cute. Customer service was good, food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the bathroom was clean. The sitting space is small so I can only imagine how crowded it gets on the weekend. On the second visit, my friends got the Chick-in Maple combo and Chili Cheese Fries. They both enjoyed their dishes. I tasted the fries and thought they were really good. I decided to go the sweet route and chose The Churro. It was FANTASTIC!!! The cashier said it was going to be a sweeter version of the waffle, but it wasn?t. That?s ok because it was loaded it other sweet things?ice cream, caramel and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Reliving that moment might make me go back for more today. ????

I went for the first time with a friend and the pizza fries chicken strips were a hit ! Went back the next day with more friends and the presentation/cook was different but I enjoyed mines again , My friends not so much ???????? Highly recommended. Pizza Fries Sweet Chili is ????????????

This restaurant is truly fantastic and offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience. There aren't many places like this one in the area, and they offer a diverse menu of delicious dishes. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, and I never felt pressured to make a quick decision on what to order. I highly recommend this restaurant. By the way, the meal in the picture cost around $12 after tax.

10000% recommend!!! This was our first time and we?re so glad we gave it a try! The food was amazing! The employees were so super helpful and pleasant! My Nashville hot sandwich was chefs kiss. And the churro waffle, ahh!!!!! Too good! Can?t wait to go back!
