Anthony's On Grand - Kansas City

Loud and unfriendly. The wait staff cater to their regulars and basically ignore everyone else. The food is absolutely vile. I mean you get a mountain of food on your plate, but substance over quantity is super important and I just cant recommend this place.

I love this place! The staff makes you feel at home and the food is true Italian comfort food. The calamari is epic, flavorful and fresh. Anything pasta is the real deal. My favorite spot to go after church. You can stay and have a conversation over coffee or a second glass of wine without someone rushing you to turn the table.

I always love to eat at Anthony's. Since I am Italian it's like eating at home. Good family style Italian.

Great italian food. Very authentic and all around great.

Neighborhood Italian just as I recall from my time teaching at USMA West Point NY and going down to the City. Great family place.
