Papi's Pizza Cafe - Kankakee

I hosted a baby shower in the back room with around 40 guests, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I was even able to return some decorations I purchased since we didn't need them after all. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the event. We brought our own items, including cups and balloons, and Papi was quick to find solutions for any issues that arose. He truly went above and beyond. And the pizza? Absolutely delicious!

My wife and I have dined here twice, and both experiences were fantastic. On our second visit, we had breakfast, and everything was delicious; however, we noticed that the Country Gravy contains sausage, which affects vegetarians trying to enjoy the breakfast pizzas. Fortunately, the manager (who I believe is the owner) was very accommodating and offered to provide the gravy without sausage or make the pizza without it. Since the restaurant is currently only open three days a week, it's understandable that a detail like this might be missed. So, if you're a vegetarian or simply prefer to skip the sausage on your breakfast pizza, just be sure to request the gravy without sausage.

Delicious food! I ordered a made-to-order pizza with chicken, tomatoes, and spinach, and it was fantastic! The waiting staff was friendly, and the appetizers were tasty as well (definitely try the wings and cheese curds). This restaurant offers a full menu, including breakfast options. They even have a buffet on weekends, with part of the proceeds going to a nonprofit organization—how wonderful is that?! I also loved the decor, with a variety of seating options including booths, tables, high tops, and an outdoor terrace. Highly recommended!

Hospitality is amazing! We were on our way and stopped for lunch. The staff was amazing and the food delicious! Wonderful atmosphere all around! When we tried to leave our battery was dead. We sat inside out of the cold and were still treated amazingly. I just can't say enough good about this place!

Amazing pizza, pasta, salad and dessert pizza buffet, drink included! The pasta had goast pepper cheese giving it some zip. The garlic cheese bread was my favorite tons of cheese and tons of flavor. The dessert pizza chocolate and fruit what is a good finisher. (Update 4/3/2019) Food quality gone down it seems in my last few visits. 5 star to 4 star.
