The food has been terrible ever since Copeland's took over. I ordered the fried chicken, and it was disappointing; it used to be so much better. People seem to be coming here out of desperation since there aren't any good dining options nearby.

What a fantastic discovery on our way back from a day of hiking in Southern Illinois! I ordered the prime rib, accompanied by a baked potato, vegetables, and soup. There was so much food that I definitely needed a large takeout box. Everything was excellent and incredibly fresh! The cheese ball served with the meal was a delightful and tasty addition. My fiancé opted for the hamburger with fries, and he was equally impressed. The burger was massive and cooked to perfection, just as he likes it. The prices were very reasonable as well. Our waitress, whose name I believe was Bailey, was incredibly attentive and friendly. I would absolutely make the hour-long drive again just to dine at Fran’s!

We've always had a great experience at Fran's. The ribs are my husband's absolute favorite!

The garlic beef roll and cheeseburger meals were excellent tonight.
