Pokok Sawa - Kangar

I visited the place about 20 years ago every time I came for a meeting. They served very beautiful Malay dishes that cooked like “my mother’s house”. Today had the chance to visit this beautiful food place again... and it never disappointed me! It remained like 20 years ago... Not as beautiful as Anjung Keli.... But I can definitely say that I had very delicious food today and it was much better than Anjung Keli!

Keli goreng mmg the best. Appropriate price. Must come early at 12:00 to enjoy the varieties. Regular customer.

Authentic 'Kampong' style restaurant special Perlis style dishes. Keli goreng or bakar, next to Sayur keladi is their brand. The Keli is in place with the famous Anjung Keli. And personally for me, the best dish are the humble, the simple Sambal belacan and air asam. Great. It is unwritten that 'ayer tangan' orang lama are the best.

1 of our lunch when you drive to Padang Besar. Must come and try their fried fish, crispy from meat to bone. Mixed with air. Perfect!
