Barrel House - Kane

I decided to visit this place based on the reviews, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The food and prices were decent, but not exceptional. The real issue was the service, which was terrible. After my food was delivered, my server didn't return to my table, even though I wanted to place additional orders. I had to try to get her attention to settle my bill. She dropped off the check and then disappeared again. Fortunately, I had enough cash to pay, so I could leave without having to wait any longer. I won't be returning.

The bar is beautiful, and the food is excellent with a wide variety of options. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.

I rated this restaurant one star because they seat far too many guests for the small kitchen's capacity to handle. I visited around 6 PM yesterday, and it took nearly two hours for my order to arrive. I understand that busy places tend to have longer wait times, but in this case, the main issue is that the kitchen simply can't keep up with the number of tables. The food isn't worth a two-hour wait, and if you see a lot of cars outside, your best bet is to keep driving. You're likely to end up waiting a long time at your table before your meal is finally ready.

9/7/22 Arrived about 7:30 pm. The parking lot was packed ! So I was anticipating a wait. Waitress/Bartender was very friendly and got our drinks quickly and took our food order. Our food was delivered before we knew it! My Chicken, wild rice and vegetables were all amazing and delicious! My husbands steak was exactly how he likes it. And my brother in law also said his seafood was very good. Definitely Recommend !!

Came here for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Had the ham and cheese pretzel melt with wings. Prices where fair and the portion of blue cheese when ordered for the wings were large. The fries that came with the sandwich were also a large portion homemade and excellently crisp reminding me of five guys fries. The pretzel bun was also very good if you want to consider upgrading.
