Champs Chicken - KANAB

I wasn’t expecting a grocery store meat department vibe since it’s located inside a grocery store, so we were a bit let down when the chicken tasted just like typical grocery fried chicken. It was decent, but nothing special.

It might be the best chicken spot in town simply because there are no competitors. However, the chicken was dry and tasted like it had been kept under a heat lamp for a while.

The food was quite dry and not particularly fresh, but the customer service was outstanding. The staff communicated well and maintained a positive attitude throughout.

I have no idea why this is so highly rated. Rating tricked us into eating here as we were going through town before most restaurants had opened for lunch. Chicken is sitting in a display case and was cooked who knows how long ago. Like warm. Not juicy. Breading had that solidified oil taste that chicken under a heat lamp has. Not only that but 3 strips and 2 sides with no drink was 10 bucks!!! The sides themselves actually weren?t bad but I hope no one ever suffers through eating at this ?stand? inside the grocery store.

Champs is located inside glazier's. Pretty good chicken at a decent price. You have a wide range of sides as well. It's connected to the blue taco for more food options if you have a family.
