This place exceeded our expectations! The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is perfect, and the food is absolutely heavenly. We ordered the Karaage set and the Hamburg set, along with brown rice and a double chocolate cake. Everything was delicious! The only downside was the soy latte, which was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant has very limited seating. While this could be suitable for lunch sets, the staff allows guests to linger and chat over drinks, which takes up valuable space. Additionally, there were no other options provided, and the staff couldn't give me an estimate of seat availability. I had to leave because I was looking for vegan food options. Very cozy little restaurant only a few minutes away from kamakura station. The food was light and delicious. The view into the small backyard and the relaxing music were very calming. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-09
I was impressed by the traditional house. I had a today's set meal and a chocolate cake. Both the dishes were delicious and amazing!
Finally an authentic Japanese Vegan Restaurant. Fully satisfied with the limited menu and every part of the meal was delicious. 20AUD for a standard set was good value. All in a quaint traditional Japanese building.
Very delicious and balanced teishoku available I just went for the daily plate here and was not disappointed. Ambiente is also incredible place is a bit tucked away from the hustle bustle and has both tatami floor seating as well as tables available in a traditional Japanese house (shoes off : Dessert was also terrific.
