Very “Mikaku” !!!! Tasteful food in rustic Japanese surroundings. Definitely a visit and worth your money.
The lunch, along with dessert, was perfect; everything was incredibly delicious.

I personally avoid animal products, but I made sure to mention that I didn't want coffee jelly cream. For my main course, I selected a soup made from kelp and shiitake mushrooms, and it was incredibly rich and delicious!
Cafe Guri is conveniently located right across from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, making it a delightful spot for a meal. As soon as we walked in, the staff inquired if we were vegetarian and promptly presented us with the vegan meal option. Though the selection is limited to just one choice, it is incredibly delicious! Our meal was served on exquisite traditional Japanese lacquerware that is available for purchase in the shop. We enjoyed fresh vegetables alongside some of the most tender tofu I’ve ever tasted. While the menu might not have a wide variety, the location truly cannot be surpassed.
