Krögers - Kalmar

Lunch here during the beginning of July with many tourists round. Like custom in Sweden was a special lunch deal available. I chose the salad with Ranch Dressing, Avocado, roast beef, eggs and more for 99SEK €10, , water and coffee with cookies included. Cost the waiter more than 15 minutes after he gave us a table for our order. After 10 minutes wait for the serving of our drinks. Good portion size, good taste and fresh ingredients for the long waiting period. Worth a visit!

Went to have dinner and asked for a table outside since we had a dog with us. The manager just pointed at the first table right next to the entrance and said that's the only one available even though I could see others that were free. When pointed that out, he said they were all booked rather rudely. His manner was really dismissive. We just crossed over to Stars stripes another restaurant and they were so welcoming.

Good grub beer. I had the fish chips and my partner had a burger and we thoroughly enjoyed both. The price is premium because outdoor seating has heaters and faces the main plaza in Kalmar. It 's a see and be seen place where people go mostly for drinks to lounge in couches. Service is slow on a busy night but otherwise friendly professional staff. One of many good places to eat in Kalmar.

Its ok. The patio-area outside had a really run-down feeling to it, the glass on the beer-taps on the outside bar was broken, the table and chairs had seen better days, trash on the ground. You expect more in busy-season and with the fairly high pricing on the food. Altho, good selection of beverages, friendly staff and got vegetarian alternatives.

Good food but horrible service. No welcome at the table or instructions that food as well as drinks are to be ordered via your phone. Ordered a sangria that still hadn't been served even after we were finished eating (we asked for it three times).
