New Donut - Kalkbaai iNingizimu Afrika

We needed a quick and non-traditional breakfast spot, so we decided to stop by this little place. It's small, but it had a nice vibe inside, so we opted for takeout. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant along with a donut. My friend was a bit hesitant because the eggs and bacon are pre-cooked and then heated in a microwave before they’re assembled, but honestly, that’s just what places like McDonald's do. To our surprise, the sandwich came with salt, pepper, and mayo added—something I would have liked to know about beforehand. It was tasty, but I’m not a fan of mayo on my breakfast sandwich. As for the donuts, the staff mentioned that her brother bakes them. The kitchen looked a bit dark, so I wasn’t sure if they were made there or brought in from another location, but they did taste fresh. Overall, it's a cute little spot for a quick meal on the go.
