フィードバックを提供するMy benchmark for the best Thai I've ever had was a little family run restaurant in the 1980s called the Thai Room. Measure against that Little Thailand Restaurant is good My orders consisted of chicken wings entree and the salt/pepper squid. I liked my dishes and the speed of the service. Also good value. I'll come again to try some of the other dishes.
They over seasoned everything here. Cashew chicken is super sweet its inedible! Namtok is super salty. Not very good Thai food.
Just spent a few nights in Canberra, checked TripAdvisor for good Thai restaurants nearby and this one came up. I couldn'd find a menu online, until i went to MenuLog, and found that ordering online gives 10% for your first order at Little Thailand. The food is delicious, and worth every cent of their asking price, however, if you can save a few $, why not. Just google "Menulog Little Thailand"
We were staying at the Quality Hotel Dickson, at the Tradies and just wanted a quick walk to a meal. The LITTLE THAILAND RESTAURANT is a minute walk so we decided on that.We ordered fish cakes and satay as entree and my goodness, the fishcakes x4 were lovely but the chicken satay stole the show, 4 satay sticks and plump, tender, juicy satays they were. Brilliant ! Absolutely scrumptious. We had ordered massaman beef curry, panang chicken curry and stir fry prawns with chili jam as mains. They were fab. Huge serves, tasty and satisfying. My only comment would be that the heat recommendations on the menu do not match the food. All dishes were subtle in flavour and very tasty. However, of you want a bit more kick, even just a bit, I would ask, as you are ordering, for a little more kick.Don't get me wrong, it's not bland, tasty and flavoursome, yes, just not as spicy as we could have wished for.Having said that, kids would love it.The staff were brilliant, so happy and efficient. The restaurant itself was clean and bright and had a very content atmosphere.Lovely people behind the counter.Loads of people coming in for takeaway.Yummy!Thank you Little Thai. And YES, wheelchair friendly, although we did not access the bathroom, so don't know about that, sorry.
I was initially skeptical as the store only had a few patrons. Then I realized it was only 6pm on a Tuesday night. Within 15mins of me entering the place started filling. That's when I knew I made the right choice. I ordered my chicken vegetables stir fry and one serve of rice and dug into my dinner. WOW, WOW, WOW......the flavour was imensely orgasmic and mind blowing.....A bit descriptive?? I don't care, it was that good and for $15, a **** good feed. Will I go back there when in Canberra next.....depending on where I'm staying I will definately do my best. Am I picky and selective when it comes to good flavoursome food, you bet. Do I recommend this place for a great Thai feed, YES!!
