The Old Goat Tavern - Kalamazoo

Love their burgers and drinks! Check out their specials, my friends and I visit on Tuesdays often for the tacos and margs. A nice experience with no complaints :

Stopped in last Friday for a beer and lunch with my buddy. Our server, Brianna, was friendly and very efficient. I had the puffy tacos and they were excellent. Prices are reasonable and you can get a pint of Labatts for $2.50. Hard to beat that. The place is a bit loud but overall a good experience.

Ate out here for dinner while staying overnight for a college tour, was mainly interested in the large amount of positive reviews for their goat fries and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, expectations exceeded reality, I was met with luke-warm fries that were more sweet than seasoned, not crispy at all, the absolute opposite of what majority reviews say. Jalapeño grilled cheese was just ok.If you 're not that hungry and are just out to hang and drink with friends, the atmosphere and worker service is great. Prices on food and beverages are very reasonable and considerably cheap. Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly unless traveling with an adult. Would only recommend for ages 18+ for casual eating or 21+ for drinking

Came here for dinner today with my fiance and soon to be mother in law. We really enjoyed this place! The service is great! Our waitress was really cool and she had fast, attentive service. We were sad to hear she is leaving soon.We started with the truffle fries. Those were really good! The perfect texture, and that aioli was awesome! I got the GOAT Burger. That lives up to its name, it is amazing! Wow! And the spicy cheese curds, especially with the spicy ranch, are delicious as well! Wisconsin could learn a lesson from these! We would definitely return!

Classic college bar. Cheap drinks, cute waitresses. You just have to know what you are getting yourself into. I didn't eat any food.
