The buffet has a great rotating selection (try the purple potato salad omg) and pretty good bakery selection. On the cheaper end my lunches there usually cost $8 10 and it’s nice to take it away to eat on the beach. Large natural pharmacy/apothecary section with vitamins and other supplements (helped to ease my flu). Go here, not Whole Foods!
Great selections on the hot and cold bar (purple sweet potato salad is amazing . Good hot veggie burger options. And lots of vegan desserts (cheesecake, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc. . If you want the Whole Foods experience minus the meat and all the people, please go here.
This location certainly has most body products and many environmentally friendly knickknacks like a little bambus cute for $2 that I appreciate. this location is also great if you want to go around kailua and see some cute shops nearby. updated by the previous review on 2021-06-19
I arrived at the restaurant and decided to stay for a meal. It's a self-service buffet where you pay by weight. You can definitely spend a lot if you’re not careful, but the food is excellent. I brought some vegan donuts and a papaya to enjoy with my vegan lasagna and enchilada. I also tried the purple sweet potato salad, which is one of my favorites! I had first tried it at PCC.
There’s a paradise, and then there’s “Down to Earth.” In this paradise, chickens roam freely, and at Down to Earth, they’re fed the leftovers from diners. I felt bad for the chickens, as I had no food for them; I decided to savor my meal instead. The dishes were simply too delicious and too pricey to share with the chickens. I ordered lasagna, musubi, a burger, pizza, and everything I could see in the pictures. The vegan pizza from Whole Foods was definitely better. Maybe I just wasn’t a fan of the cauliflower crust. The breakfast was a bit too dry for my taste. Other than that, I would give 5 stars for everything else.
