Gertrude's Jazz Bar Restaurant

We arrived early as the restaurant was just opening. The first thing we were told was that there would be entertainment, which would come at an extra cost. We placed our orders, but our food arrived before our drinks. I had ordered a bottled beer that was partially poured into a glass. When I lifted the glass to take a sip, I found FIVE bugs floating in the beer. I brought this to the waitress's attention, and she took the beer away and returned with a clean (I hope) glass, but she didn’t mention anything about compensating for the lost beer. At this point, unsure of any mistakes that might have occurred with our relatively simple meal, we decided to ask for the bill and left. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

I wouldn't recommend ordering food here; it's best to stick to drinks. The food was the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. However, the music, view, and service are excellent.

The atmosphere was lovely, situated on the second floor with a sea view and an open-air setting. I arrived just before happy hour, which was a great surprise. My server, Merty (not sure about the spelling), was exceptional throughout the evening. The live jazz band, Casablanca, showcased their talent with a wonderful selection of music, some of which included singing. The prices were quite reasonable, making for a very enjoyable evening overall.

They love the music and mood in the jazz bar of gertrude. they offer a lot of musicians, good drinks and eating, and a place where friends can gather to have a great evening!
