Denny's - Joplin

Very good experience as always going there. the waitress was sweet, and the hot chocolate really hit the place! the only grip I had was that we asked for separate controls, and they didn't separate them. otherwise a perfect visit! food: 5/5

Makiyla is an incredible server. She knows her stuff. Customer service is something she takes very seriously. She always has a smile on her face and a pep in her step. She doesn't treat people like customers, to her customers are like family. She takes in and remembers the small details and learns her customer base and can carry on a conversation. It's this type of service that keeps us coming back. She is the definition of 5star.

They definitely need more people working. Should be no reason why the poor chef should look like she is overwhelmed because she has no help. The waitress at night is only 22 and she is so sweet. Pretty sure her name is Sally. I love this dennys just get more help for that chef!Food: 5/5

The food came out cold and it was very cold in the restaurant. The staff took forever to serve other tables and it got so bad that my wife and I decided it was better to go back to our hotel and warm the food up ourselves than to have to wait to have them do it. It would’ve been better to go to IHOP or McDonald’s because at least the food would’ve been hot and quick. The place wasn’t the cleanest and it felt like a truck stop bathroom throughout the restaurant. At least it smelled nice! My wife and I were looking for a decent place to grab a late night snack… this was the absolute worst dining experience I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
