Great southern food. Lewis is cool. He's like SpongeBob, he puts love into what he's making. If you are in the Jonesboro area and haven't tried this spot, don't miss out.

Mr. Lewis, YOU know how to cook PERIOD!!! Me being new to the McDonough area, I found you restaurant on my GPS and decided to take a try at your cuisine. I was not disappointed one bit. I ordered the whiting dinner with okra and slaw. DELICIOUS, WELL PREPARED, LIP SMACKING, NOT OVER SEASONED, FLAKEY WHITING!!! What more could I ask bit for you to NEVER sell your business. Sir, in a world of copy-cats saying they know how to cook OUR foods, you put them all to shame. Those of you coming to my country trying to out cook the originators of delicacy, please stick to what you know. You will NEVER attain the glory of Mr. Lewis. This man KNOWS COOKING and it is evident with every meal he serves. B1, Brother Lewis.

I could give it 4 stars for it being slight confusing as far as the big menus laying on the table. I could even give it 3 stars for the gentleman being kinda dry and not as helpful as I wanted (referring to who I believe is the owner). But because the food was so delicious and clearly cooked with love it gets 5 STARS! The food was delicious, amazing, scrumptious, life changing, appetizing, mouthwatering and everything else in between. I ordered Real Meal Deal. It included Cubed steak and gravy over rice, macaroni and cheese, dressing and collard greens w/ a piece of cornbread. I was very pleased. Let me also add that the plate had to be doubled because it was so massive. I absolutely love that food!! Update: went back the next day.. totally different experience!! I think I might be addicted to this place!!

Best around , he never disappointed me, food cook too order worth the wait. I’ll always return every week too support his business. That Mac n cheese , candy yams hits different everytime ! Fried chicken oh yes sir ! Try the red velvet cake!

I have passed by this location so many times wanting to stop but it looked like it wasn't open. Then a friend said it was open, limited hours. First visit today and I will visit again. Now that I have the menu I can order ahead and just pick up my food instead of ordering and waiting. These wings are good, garlic-parmesan, the flavor is not over powering. I'm sharing this information as a Travel professional. If you're in the area and want a different vendor, give him a try
