Vela’s Lounge - Joliet

We had a great meal tonight at vela. my wife and I shared chicken Fajitas. the margaritas were great. the owner stopped at our table and we found out that our waitress was with the business for 13 years. that is the family business they want to support.

This was my first time at this restaurant and the staff was friendly. I didn't order food, but I did have a drink. The DJ played Tex-Mex music and was a hit! We will definitely be coming back.

The owner and bartender are one of the best hostess I've ever met. it is my place to go! totally recommended.

I absolutely adore every visit I make to this restaurant. The delicious food, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the friendliness of the owner really make this place stand out. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a leisurely meal with a couple of drinks, this is the perfect spot. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. My go-to dish is the Steak and Potato tacos, served in the traditional style on corn tortillas with plenty of green salsa. I highly recommend dining here!

When I visit Joliet to meet with my good friend, we always stop at Vela's for lunch. Is it the good food? Yes! Is it the friendly, but professional service? Yes! Is it the kind of place where you can just relax,spend time and not feel rushed with friends or family in the warmth of an enjoyable restaurant? Absolutely! The cost of lunch, also makes it a practical choice for families and friends to enjoy. You know I love it so much, that I'm going back tomorrow.
