El Primo Mexican #2 - Joliet

The street tacos were fantastic, and the carne asada was mouthwatering! You get a generous portion of food for an excellent price. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

The food and service were both quite good. However, the margaritas were lacking in alcohol strength, making them barely noticeable. Additionally, the salsa was thin and watery, so I had to mix in some jalapeño sauce to give it a bit of heat.

I wasn't overly impressed with the flavor of the food. The enchiladas were only lukewarm, but the gordita was fresh and served hot. The staff was polite. Parking is limited since there’s a small lot, and the building is located on the corner.

Excellent Mexican cuisine! Always a good meal, especially the steak fajitas and tacos. Very well priced and good portion sizes.

I pass a few El Primos just to get to this one.. the one on ruby street gets it right every single time.. I'm not knocking the other ones I've never been to them but I'm super loyal to these guys right here cuz they hook me up every single time which these days it's hard to find.. food always fresh and delicious their shredded chicken burrito is out this world ?
