Donut Den - Joliet

The donuts here are always amazing! I'm so glad I discovered this place on WGN after moving here. It's a lovely spot, and the staff is always cheerful.

I absolutely love the donuts from Donut Den, and I was really excited to try their Paczki this year. Normally, I get them from Orland Bakery, but it's quite a drive from Joliet. I spent around $30 for eight of them. However, when I opened one, I was really disappointed to find a very oddly shaped strawberry inside. I have kids who have already eaten a few, and I haven't checked those yet. The thought of them having eaten one of these makes me feel sick. It's so concerning that nobody noticed this while making them. Unfortunately, I had to throw the rest away.

If you're looking for some consistently fresh and delicious donuts, be sure to check out Look Donut! Just make sure to arrive early; I had my heart set on a cheese donut but was disappointed to find they had sold out by the time we arrived!

The best donuts around, we are only going here from now on. Nothing compares to the freshness and deliciousness of this place! More variety than I've ever seen, it took a minute to decide what to get!

If you are looking for delicious special donuts, then make a trip here! ?Bacon donuts, fruity pebbles ?donuts, and don't forget to try the cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissant?! Go early for the best selection. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is less busy, the later you go. Sometimes this place has a line out of the door! Luckily the staff is very helpful and the line moves quickly.
