Yuimaru Kitchen - Johnson City

The best sushi in the Tri-Cities area, without a doubt! These two pictures speak volumes. The rolls not only looked amazing, but they tasted incredible as well. I won't promise that you'll get a beautiful presentation like this every visit, but if you frequent the restaurant enough for the staff to recognize you and you happen to visit during a quieter time, you might just be in for a delightful surprise! Speaking of which, the staff at Yuimaru is as impressive as the food. The customer service is outstanding!

The food is excellent when dining in, but my experience with takeout has been disappointing. I ordered the chicken katsu curry, and when I opened the container, there was only a small drizzle of curry on it. It doesn't taste anything like it does when I enjoy it at the restaurant. I really love this place, but I won’t be ordering takeout again.

The food is PHENOMENAL! No complaints about the price as I got exactly what I paid for... instant seating. Friendly service, prompt food arrival, and she even brought my pup some water. She not only cared about my husband and myself she tended to her! Will definitely be back!! 10/10

My wife and dined in your restaurant this afternoon. Do not get me wrong, the food was fine but the price certainly was not! We always share a meal because neither one of us can eat a whole meal. We ordered the fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and steak and 2 egg rolls. The waitress did not specify any extra charge to us. We assumed that there would be a small charge, but man were we surprised when we got the bill. The entrée was $12 and the egg roll were $4, so the total should have been $16 plus tax. They charged us a total of $18 additional dollars for the little amount of both meats $7 $9). We paid $35.04 which is absolute highway robbery. When we asked the waitress about it, she said we would have to take it up with the manager ourselves, which is not right. If she was a good waitress that cared about her customers, she would have taken care of the issue for us. I have never been ripped of so bad in a restaurant before in my life!!! Absolutely crazy and poor service!
