El Agave - Johnson City

I've passed this place a bazillion time and just thought it was a small town, average Mexican food place. I was wrong. It is very good Tex-Mex with large margaritas and a decent beer menu. Service was fast and friendly and not waiting.

The food was delicious! I had the chickens Tortilla soup and Yam. Greater portion than I thought, but didn't hate it. They didn't have a cheeseburger at the children's meal, but my niece got a regular burger. Barbacoa was good. Service was polite and constantly working, filling cups salsa and cleaning.

We were a group of 17 people, ordered a variety of foods and we all loved what we have! Tortilla soup stood out for me, both huge and delicious, I want to come back. The staff was very nice and well organized, kept our orders straight when they brought them to food and when we paid. The place seemed to be very popular by locals!

Menudo must have a clear oil lake above, red mol masks, which smiles down. Some rocks and laces are like a oyster bed at low tide. Nothing I want to make inflatable. Every moment and then, out of the corner of my eye. The best menu.

We ordered through drive through and ate at the office. I ordered steak street tacos and tortilla soup and goodness, the soup was delicious! My kids ate some as well as the rice and beans and thought all of it was really good. My only complaint is the sogginess of the tortilla strips in the soup. I prefer them semi-crunchy so I wasn’t a fan of them being already in the soup and soft. It didn’t stop me from eating it. : Definitely worth a second visit when I’m in the area again.
