The Raj Gold Reef City - Johannesburg

This is easily the best Indian restaurant I've ever dined at. We had our Sunday family gathering here for the first time, and the kids enjoyed it as well. The prices are a bit high, but it is definitely worthwhile.

Efficient and friendly service in a quiet place. the butter chicken with saffron rice and garlic naan brot couple very good. the ordered heat factor was medium and had a nice brand, but nothing above the top.

The prices for the dishes are quite high. The Butter Chicken Samosas were good, but when I asked if the lentil dish was a smooth liquid soup, they said yes—it wasn't, and I didn't enjoy it regardless. We ordered two main dishes, the lentils, Samosas, naan bread, and two Sprites, and our bill came to around 750 Rand.

Terrible food. Ordered and paid for a lamb bunny....tasted like C grade mutton. Meat quality aside, people who don't know what a bunny should taste like, should NOT be selling them and charging higher than normal prices. Ginger for example was left in chunks in the curry. Did not taste nice at all. I won't be visiting this restaurant again!

The overpriced food was bland and uninspiring. The kulfi dessert was an expensive joke. Items on the menu were not available. Service was appalling and the waiter lacked knowledge and skills to deliver a proper, efficient service.
