Mcdonald's - Johannesburg

I think I was more excited about the WIFI than I was about the yummy blueberry and hot chocolate. Always great McDonald's, thank you.

Very average overall. Food was slapped together, took 10mins just to get an answer on a family combo meal question-loads of staff wandering around looking busy but not actually doing anything. When it arrived we checked, and there were no sauces for the nuggets-when asked “oh, sorry we are out of sauces(all of them? and the lady at the till should have informed you”. So we got opened jalapeño sauce with no lids-probably from a previous customer-how disgusting. Chips were supposed to be no salt, yet it was covered. Really go to another store if you can.

Literally the worst McDonald's on earth. 80-90% chance they will mess up your order. They will remove your order from the pickup list even if you don't pickup your food, meaning, your food will stand until you ask for it, you will get old, stale fries. They don't even have a drive through, but they can't keep up with the pedestrian traffic. Staff and management are indifferent to customer complaints. Rather go to the other McDonald's over Oxford road. This one is just terrible. Absolutely terrible. Would give negative rating if I could.

Waited 15 minutes for our drive through order of 3 frappes This is not the first time I have experienced this and is unacceptable. They need to desperately improve they drive through service.

Good food at a decent price, but the drive through is infested with beggars which makes me question the security. From the moment when I joined the queue, to the moment I collected my food, 5 people approached my car, either asking me for money or trying to guilt me into buying something, when all I want was a quick and cheap meal. Something about this needs to be done. I understand that times are tough, but I don’t want to have to constantly close my window as soon as I collect my food.
