Mcpuffin's Atlantic Seafood - JOGGINS

Today, we dined at McPuffins and the experience was exceptional. My husband chose the McPuffin Burger with fries, while I opted for the two-piece fish and chips. It was absolutely amazing! Coming from the east coast of Nova Scotia, we truly understand what fresh fish should taste like. The batter on the fish was light and not greasy, and the fish itself was cooked to perfection. His burger was also fantastic. The fries are among the best hand-cut fries I've ever had—crispy, light, and simply delicious. The service was excellent as well. Don’t let the two or three negative reviews dissuade you; some people just enjoy complaining. This place is a gem!

What a wonderful hidden gem to discover on our way to Joggins! We enjoyed a delicious meal and even got a fascinating history tour from the owner, Greg. It's truly impressive how quickly he managed to prepare five meals while sharing stories about the area. We can't wait to return on our next visit!

What a wonderful hidden gem for a family meal! The food was outstanding. My daughter ordered the seafood fettuccini, and it was the best I've ever tasted—she devoured it! My step-son chose the crispy chicken burger, and my husband enjoyed the haddock; they both loved their meals! Everything was so fresh! I had the tossed salad, and the vegetables were incredibly crisp and fresh, perfectly complemented by a delicious dressing. I highly, highly recommend visiting this place!

I cannot recommend this restaurant! I had an awful dining experience. It feels like this place should be shut down by health inspectors. They served us a dirty fork and a napkin that appeared to be stained with coffee. When I requested water, it was filled with floating white particles, making it undrinkable. The fries were satisfactory, but the fish was a disaster. The chicken burger seemed undercooked and had an odd flavor, as though it had been prepared alongside the fish—which definitely did not taste like chicken. The potential for cross-contamination here is very concerning. Additionally, her garlic bread was merely buttered toast.

What a fantastic little seafood restaurant! I had the fish sandwich with fries and mussels, and I enjoyed every single bite! The prices were excellent too!
