Schloss-cafè - Jever

Since we had breakfast several times a few years ago, we were looking forward to a new visit, but unfortunately we were disappointed enormously. In the meantime, there is a large breakfast buffet at the price of €13, which was not true to us all along the line of frustrated quality, quantity, selection, service: from most of the dishes offered there were only residues there (at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday morning), were not laid down, on request, 2 rolls (release goods) were placed in the basket and a pudder O juice poured into the carafe. Our plates were only cleared when we demonstrated them to the neighboring table. Three varieties of simple jam plus nut cream (no nutella) and honey from portion packs, 2 varieties of bread...the list of misery has been expanded as desired. Price performance totally inappropriate. No recommendation, no star.

The Christmas card looked very tasty at first glance: 1/2 duck, pork roast, deer lobe or... As supplements there were from croquettes to rice and red cabbage to rose cabbage. Unfortunately, the quality was far from what the prices expected. The preliminary soup, a cattle force broth, was definitely not well tasted. Tastefully more from the brewing cube category. The soup was refined with frozen herbs and counted three small meat blocks. Also the corpses were anything but something special. The little bit of bread would have been good and liked to be warm... My main dish was the 1/2 duck with croquets and red cabbage. At first glance, the duck seemed to be drowned in the liquid, probably the orange sauce and fat of the duck. The duck, which was definitely not half a duck anymore by the preparation, tasted, but rather after any poultry. Tastefully however far from duck. Unfortunately, the red cabbage also tasted like the soup. If I had more breakfast in the morning, I would probably have let him stand. The croquettes that were not drowned by the liquid tasted good and were crispy. The dessert, berries under shame, tasted quite right. However, one had to have a high tolerance to sourm. Unfortunately, the staff also made a very overwhelmed, zT unfriendly, impression. Probably a busy morning with breakfast was in front of them, but it must be better to put away at a half full restaurant at noon. Unfortunately, the food surprised me very negatively, as I had quite different experiences for breakfast and coffee there. Especially when such a small, long planned card is offered, MUSS the quality tastefully just go beyond hospital canteen.
