Costi's Famous Fish Co. - JESMOND

I had a fantastic experience at this seafood restaurant. The staff are knowledgeable about their offerings, the location is great, and the people are friendly. Everything is freshly cooked and I especially enjoyed the seafood options on the menu. I highly recommend supporting this local business as they provide top-notch food at a reasonable price. The fact that it's within walking distance from the ocean is an added bonus. This place is definitely worth a visit for any seafood lover.

I tried the $10 flathead and chips lunch special at this restaurant. The meal was served quickly, and the fish was cooked perfectly. However, some of the chips were not cooked all the way through.

Costi's is situated among a row of restaurants near Stocklands and specializes in fish and chip-style cuisine. The prices were reasonable; we were able to purchase 8 large calamari rings for $8. The portions of chips were also generous, packed to the brim by the friendly staff. My only issue with the meal was that the calamari seemed a bit oily. Perhaps if they had been drained for a bit longer after frying (the staff kindly replaced our order fresh, likely due to our large group), they would have been improved.

Situated along the row of restaurants outside Stocklands, Costi's offers fish-and-chip style food. The prices were good; for $8 we could get 8 calamari rings, which were massive. Chips were well priced too; the friendly staff packed the chip box full and it was great value.My only issue with the food was the calamari was a bit oily. I suspect if they'd been left a bit longer to drip after being fried (the staff did a fresh batch for us, probably due to the amount we ordered as a group) they would have been better.
