Venture Inn - Jersey Shore

I ordered a burger and fries. The restaurant has a nice interior, and the waitstaff were friendly with outstanding service. The only downside was that they never mentioned that the fries are heavily seasoned with pepper when I ordered them. Since I don't eat pepper, I couldn't enjoy the fries. However, the burger was good.

Absolutely not! The food is terrible and the service is dreadful. We only visited this place once, and it will definitely be our last time! It would be better off as an Airbnb or a budget motel, and that's not a compliment at all!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I went with my wife and daughter after we enjoyed a walk along the rails-to-trails. The place wasn't even busy, but the waitress treated us as if it were packed. We waited quite a while for menus, and after we finally placed our order, it took an eternity just to receive our drinks. The appetizer took half an hour to arrive, and my wife didn’t receive her salad. We had to ask for bread because we had been waiting so long. Eventually, our main dishes arrived, along with an apology from the staff and a promise to bring us something extra as compensation, but that never happened. We had to constantly remind our waitress for drink refills. Additionally, the floor was in poor condition, with some areas appearing rotting. I guess all these warning signs should have indicated the outcome—my family and I ended up feeling sick and spent most of the night and the following day in the bathroom. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant; you'll regret it. It’s a shame because they used to be great about ten years ago, but that’s not the case anymore.

It is a cozy family restaurant. We loved the peppers in oil and oregano they bring with the bread. Our server was kind and brought our haddock promptly. The food was delicious.

Amazing fresh-cut fries! A group of 155 bikes were scheduled to arrive and I had ordered an iced tea. Since our waitress expected it to get busy, she brought me a pitcher of tea before they started rolling in. Very friendly staff. My only complaint was the Bull Dog sandwich had too much BBQ sauce and cheese, but my preference is to enjoy the sliced ribeye, rather than the toppings. We'll definitely be back.
