Papa Johns Pizza - Jersey City

My order arrived on time, but that was about the only positive aspect of the experience. The pizza was quite disappointing—undercooked and extremely thin-crusted, even though I hadn't requested a thin crust. The delivery driver left the pizza in the lobby, and when I called him to ask if he could bring it to my apartment, he said he had already left. Given that Papa John's charges a $4.99 delivery fee plus a 15-20% tip, I believe it's reasonable to expect the order to be delivered directly to my apartment rather than left in the lobby. I may still consider ordering from Papa John's in the future, but I'm done with this particular location.

During our first visit, we simply walked in and ordered the Signature Pizza. The manager was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain our options, making our experience enjoyable. And yes, the pizza was delicious—absolutely loved it! However, on our second visit, the manager was not there, and unfortunately, we received the wrong pizza. It seems that without the manager, the experience isn't quite the same. That said, the pizza is still good.

When I called him to ask if he could bring it to my apartment, he said he had already gone. if papa johns fees $4.99 in shipping costs and a 15-20% tip, I think it is reasonable to expect the order to be delivered to my apartment unit and not have it in the lobby. I may still order from papa john’s in the future, but I am personally finished with this particular place.
