Domodomo Jersey City

We are visiting and my local friends strongly recommend this place and we tried it. It's awesome! Great food and service. A short walk after the dinner along side Hudson river is pleasant as well.

High quality dinner dishes but not a typical menu if you're in the mood for straightforward sushi. Pricey. Food looked beautiful and tasted pretty good. Hand rolls were extremely unique in flavor and were great. Worth going for a special occasion. We will be back.

Oyster has a very interesting flavor combination. Highly recommended. Fried Rice was sooo good. I couldn?t stop eating even when I was full Crab pasta( not sure the name, friend ordered it) was good too. Grilled Octopus was beyond expectation for sure. Uni hand roll was very fresh. Compared to all the above, Sushi was okay

The sea food was very fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. In hand rolls we tried the Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Salmon and Spicy Yellowtail. If you want ginger and wasabi you have to ask for it( it is not billed extra) The grill octopus was tasty and the mushrooms that came with it was delicious. For drinks the we had the old fashioned with was very strong and the Blue tea lemonade was too sweet

Fantastic domokase experience. The ingredients are fresh and price is right. $85/person for the omakase, which is not that bad. Fish is fresh and the desserts are fantastic. Will definitely come back and try other menu items. The oysters though, so fresh and easy to go down, you can eat a dozen of them. Definitely a must try item.
