Simple and no frills, delicious menu with a hole in the wall feel! Definitely hits the spot for a yummy sushi meal with very reasonable pricing (especially given current inflation)

Get the Crispy Chicken Szechuan for an actual authentic experience complete with the pepper high (and sweats). Sushi pretty good too, but coming back for apparently one of the only good Chinese spots around this town.

Kashiwagi is almost too good to be true. The quality of their food is among the best I have ever had, anywhere! That is coming from a person who is visited probably a hundred sushi restaurants over the years. I went there for NYE because I couldn’t visit my family in Japan for the new year’s. Their food is so so good and the price is more reasonable than all the other Japanese restaurants in Portland!
