I live in the Phillie and came here for the first time, but will retreat. The chicken pots, sprinkles and the fish tacos were bomb! Oh and Thursday is trivia night so his super loud but funny.
I had dinner here for the first time with my family Tuesday night. Our waitress, Megan, did a phenomenal job. She was friendly, efficient had us out in time for our movie at the theater next door. I had the Brewhouse burger, which they cooked perfectly (mid rare). It was one of the best I’ve had in a while- juicy, nicely seasoned the sauce it’s topped with was delicious. The fries were crispy also nicely seasoned (didn’t need to use ketchup). Only other thing I tried was my mom’s buttermilk chicken sandwich, which I would definitely order another time (tasted great had a little spicy kick to it). Everyone else in our party was happy with their meal as well. The place also had a great atmosphere vibe. They have local bands (mostly jazz were advertised) on Saturday nights, which I would love to check out sometime.
This restaurant is great! The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the staff is always incredibly friendly.
They're cooking in-house now, and the food is fantastic! The Bavarian pretzel is a must-have for your meal. The rest of the menu consists of fresh, upscale bar food, and they also offer a delightful brunch on Sundays. You can choose from an extensive beer list that highlights local brews as well as selections from across the country. While there are many creative burgers to try, you can't go wrong with the Borough Burger. Don’t forget to check out Trivia Night on Thursdays—it's a great time for groups!
The service was top-notch—super attentive and friendly. Our server happily recommended excellent drinks, beers, and food items. The drinks were incredible, especially the new cherry Berliner Weisse, which was to die for! They also offer some really creative cocktails; I particularly loved the Café Kiefer, which perfectly blended coffee, condensed milk, and alcohol. We tried a variety of dishes from the menu, and each one surpassed the last. The menu is eclectic, featuring everything from bar snacks like tacos, wings, and burgers to more sophisticated options, including chickpea falafel and Mexican street corn, along with some amazing desserts. This place is definitely worth a visit—1000%!
