Chocolate Pepper - Jelgava

The service is super friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. Food was phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable (we ordered dishes from the day lunch menu). I could recommend the curry and chicken soup, the tomato and mozzarella salad with pesto and the duck in the cranberrie souse. 10/10 restaurant!

OMG I love this place...everytime I viset my Dear Jelgava from NYC that's where I go. Food/drinks Delicious. No matter what you order it will be slamming ...except Sushi rolls, its hard to find good Sushi place in Europe Yet alone in Jelgava...

I'll start first with the good things: 1. Service was great and the staff was super friendly 2.the hot apple and ginger drink and the baily choco was tasty The bad and its was very bad as I am never so harsh in my reviews, I had the creame brulee which is a dish I eat in every place that offers it, it looked good but when I started to eat it it had a strong egg taste, the texture was hard and really felt like eating a heavy boiled egg, it was a first time I didn't finish a desert ever, what's worse is that later that evening I felt very bad which really ruined my weekend. I suggest the owner chef to check what happend yesterday and I hope not many people had this dish and it was only me.

Nice and cozy place with decent food and exceptional fries. We have tried multiple dishes which were great but sadly burger was kinda falling out because it was way too tall to eat with cutlery and no possibility to eat with hands as no gloves were given. Also I am not the fan of black buns. Prices for ice cream cocktails are too big in my opinion because they cost 8 euros and they are super simple. Other than that, I liked everything else.

Pleasant atmosphere and service. The lentil burger was absolutely delicious!
