By the way, both Lee’s Chicken and Popeyes, just down the street, were open and doing a brisk business. To the owner of this location: You should be ashamed of allowing this to happen. Take a look at your other reviews. And by the way—love that chicken from Popeyes!
The customer service was terrible during my visit just before 9 PM on a Friday night. The sign advertises that the chicken is cooked fresh when ordered, but I can honestly say that the chicken tenders were like hockey pucks—I could barely bite through them. I also ordered extra fries and was told it would take about 5 minutes to prepare. Instead, it ended up taking nearly 15 minutes, and they couldn't even manage to serve fresh chicken that hadn't been sitting in the warmer for hours. Additionally, we had a hard time understanding Dominique, who was working the drive-thru. It was clear they were winding down for the night and didn't seem to care about providing us with good service.
I ordered two macaroni bowls tonight—one regular and one spicy. After waiting 20 minutes, I finally received my order, only to find out that both were regular, and they also forgot the pickles I paid $1 for, which I find absolutely unreasonable. You would think that a 20-minute wait for a two-item order would be enough time for them to get it right. I considered calling to address the issue, but I’ve tried reaching out before when they messed up my order, and no one ever answers. Therefore, I won’t be coming back. Ever. *Just so you know, I’m among the top 20% of Google restaurant reviewers.*
