How funny that in his quest for the perfect Cuban sandwich the meatless one won ?. Good service too. Only downside was the diner was freezing.Kid-friendliness: Waitresses was patient and accommodating.
This restaurant may be in a gas station, but it has terrific Southern cooking. When I don't feel like cooking, I finally have a restaurant to go to. It tastes just like it came out of my own kitchen. The grits are amazing. They are truly Southern grits.
Absolutely love the front porch cafe, great place to stop on a road trip or visit locally. Clean, friendly, with great food and always a friendly and talkative crowd but never overcrowded, one of our favorite restaurants- also accepts careless payment even in the restaurant for those who maybe have lost their card on a road trip this time around ?? very hospitable, great place to eat. Their chicken tenders, fries, pulled pork and sweet tea is great, and they have amazing key lime pie and a great store connected
A surprising find inside a truck stop. Robust menu with all sorts of items. Full menu served all day, including breakfast items. Great prices and generous portions. Good Southern cooking and hospitality I look for when I’m traveling. Our server was friendly and made tasty recommendations. The old country music playing in the restaurant added to the warmth and familiarity that goes with Southern cooking.Look for the Busy Bee sign at the gas station. We’ll be back.
We were passing through and stopped in. The waitress was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s tough to find vegetarian options on the road but they have the most delicious veggie Reuben. My husband was very impressed by the Reuben and we both loved the orange sunshine pie! We will be back next time!
