Five Borough Food Hall - Jamaica

I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. The majority of the ordering is done through inconvenient self-service touchscreens. Additionally, you must pay for certain items at the exit, which can come as a surprise since prices are not always clearly communicated. For example, a beer cost me 13 dollars. I ordered a falafel dish for 20 dollars, which turned out to be dry and bland. Unfortunately, there are no tables or seats available, so you have to eat your meal at your gate while waiting for your flight.

The bartender, Jean, was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in her recommendations and cocktail creations. She crafted a delicious peach margarita, her specialty, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was also tasty and served in generous portions. It was a great evening spent at the JFK terminal 4 outlet on April 21st, 2023 while waiting for our flight.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly impolite. I witnessed them raising their voices at both me and a young child simply for requesting no lettuce in a burrito. Additionally, the employee at the sandwich station was extremely slow, only making one sandwich every 15 minutes. Other customers and I were left questioning if we were part of a hidden camera prank due to the lackluster service.

Rude AF employees, paid $3 extra for tomatoes Avoca which did not make it to my sandwich. Should have just walked away in the first place when I encountered the first employee. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Review for Global Sandwiches: how do you serve someone this sandwich for $20 with a straight face. chicken avocado but no avocado. Chicken isn 't seasoned with anything and it 's dry af. I haven 't had a sandwich this bland in like 10 years Best part of this meal was the free napkins!
