Ohana - Jaco

I like eating is marked, but it was too sweet. we ordered the curry and yaki soba and it was like dessert. we also asked about the miso suppe and why it was vegetarian and they did not know why and the difference between vegan and vegetarian. they also remove their court at the moment when they take their last bite that felt a bit invasive!

Great eating, many vegan options. the personal is friendly and knowledgeable. I went there several times with vegan and non-vegan friends and everyone enjoyed eating. charlings are: portobello spies (charred), magie Pilz sushi (comes with vegane eel soße, but must remove kimchi creme to make vegan) and the green warrior salat (best salat I ever had). the only thing I don't really enjoy on the menu was the yellow curry, I found the coconut-based broth too sweet. if they like wasabi, the Wasabitini cocktail is a must try, I probably wouldn't have 2 in a night because it's very intense, but it's really good and unique. also the strawberry daiquiri is great. updated by previous review on 2022-03-05

We came in the restaurant after the recommendations from this page, booked a place by phone that was waiting as invited. the menu had some vegetarian options that could be made vegan and some perfect vegan dishes. the chef knows how to surprise with aromen and seasoned. high quality and beautiful dishes, delicious to the palate. we tried almost all the appetizers and couldn't get to the last. the panna cotta was so tasty we called the waiter twice to ensure that there is no milk in it. we're coming back. yes, we come back and would recommend it to everyone who visits jaco! kudus!

Had the tofu yakisoba and spring rolls. Spring rolls were great, fresh, crispy and different sauce than you’d usually expect. Tofu yakisoba was not too bad. Little sweet for my liking. Other than that it was pretty good. Lots of sauce. Ambience of the restaurant was kind of off. Waited super long for server to check in on us to get our bill. Lots of people waiting for seats staring. Not necessarily all the restaurants fault entirely. Very hot inside too. Not my favourite spot in Jaco but not a bad option if you are a vegan with friends who don’t want to go to a fully vegan place. Nice that everything that was vegan was clearly marked on the menu which is always a plus!
