Woody's -b-q - Jacksonville

We love coming to this Woody's! Theresa and Marie are by far the best waitresses we've had! They both remember what we drink and bring it with them as they come to our table. Their service is awesome, we never have to wait for refills, go boxes, our checks, etc .They both remember the stuff I don't like in my food (onions, tomatoes, etc) and to me, this is a really major deal! Both of them are right on top of things! It gets really crazy sometimes at work and when we come here, it's like a break from the craziness! We can sit and have a great meal and have great service. The service and the food is fast so we actually have time to eat without having to rush. This is by far one of my favorite places to come for lunch and it's made so great by Theresa and Marie!!

I come to the Powers Avenue location because it is close to where I live. The waitress's that serve me most of the time is Marie and her sister Theresa. They both do absolutely a fantastic job. If anything is wrong they fix it and do it quickly. This dynamic duo is a primary reason I come to this location. The food is really great and if Ray or Cindy are the pit master they will always come out and ask me how the food was. They do a great job too. I recommend everyone if you are close by to stop in. If you are in a rush they have a drive through and a delivery services is also available.

The best BBQ and fried squash you can get. I always come here with my dad and get the best service with Marie. We appreciate your service and kindness every time we visit and have made such a nice friend in Marie, we look so forward to seeing her every time we come in. All of the staff here is friendly and makes us feel right at home. And as a woman I truly appreciate the extras that are in the bathroom for women/mothers/babies.

We enjoying eating at this restaurant for Sunday lunch. My husband always orders the all you can eat chicken. I order the Carolina pulled pork. Both are delicious. Most of all, we enjoy the service of Marie and Cindy. They know our names, our children, and make us feel special when we go to the restaurant. We also enjoy Ray's cooking.

A hidden gem in Jacksonville. Wait staff is best around! Cindy and crew are top notch and ensure your food is out fast, hot, and delicious. Drinks stay full and a to-go cup always magically appears when you are almost done with your meal. Some really good bbq too. Brisket is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Ribs are meaty with just the right pull. You won’t be disappointed with the portions either, unlike other bbq places in Jax. You will leave full and satisfied.
