フィードバックを提供するAwful tea and terrible popcorn shrimp – it tasted like I was munching on some old, fried, crunchy bread pieces. Everything in the Argyle area seems to be subpar. The sweet tea wasn’t even sweet, which is surprising for Popeyes. To top it all off, my sandwich was wrong. I was really disappointed with this place. Food rating: 1/5.
We were turned away from the dining room because the cashier informed us that only online orders were accepted. When we inquired about the drive-thru, which was only a few feet away, the cashier mentioned that we could place an order there instead. However, we wondered why we couldn't place our order inside if they could take drive-thru orders. I asked her to clarify, but she didn't respond. Frustrated, we decided to leave. We recommend choosing another place for better service.
I just waited in line at the drive-thru for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. This isn't the first time this has happened, and I won't be returning. It's disappointing, especially since there were only two cars ahead of me, both of which were still there when I decided to leave. It's frustrating when it's quicker to park, go into the grocery store, and check out than to wait at this place.
Update: got home was missing part of my order called and the manager is making everything right. Big thanks for the great customer service were. The problem was brought to you, you fixed it. My family and I’ve been sitting here for over an hour waiting on our order that was placed online. When we first got here, we waited through the line let them know our order number. After making it to the window we were told it would be easier if we just came inside. After them looking for the order for several more minutes, the company that they use for their online orders finally sent it through. I completely understand them not getting the order was not on them, however, seeing that we had placed our order over an hour ago online I would think that the manager would attempt to get our food out sooner than treating it like it was just placed. Anyway if you want to eat some time today go somewhere else because this isn’t the place for you. PS the drive-thru girl was nice. Ahhhhhh I just wanted some chicken….
Worst experience with a fast food restaurant. First time we tried to go, the lady running the drive thru told us they were closed, come back later... It was 530pm. The next time we came, they were open, but screwed up our order. They forgot our chicken tenders completely, almost forgot our drinks, etc. We ordered a large Mac and cheese, said it like 3 times, lady said it back to us confirming it, then rang up a small Mac and cheese. I contacted Popeyes about my missing chicken tenders and a biscuit that I paid 12$ for, and was told they couldn't refund it, I had to contact the store manager. They said they forwarded the request, but I STILL haven't heard back or gotten my $12 back. I wish this location wasn't so awful because then chicken is good when they actually put it in the bag.
