Jacksonville Inn

The room this hotel is beautiful and newly remodeled. We enjoyed the claw foot tub and cleanliness. However, it’s very odd check in process. And the code they gave us didn’t work. We paid a lot of money for one night and arrived fairly late in the evening and so it was very important to be able to access our room to get ready for dinner before everything closed. The local contact was helpful, but I also couldn’t get a hold of her at first, so I had to call somebody in a different state and go back-and-forth with them and her and then Maintance to come and get us into our room an hour or so later (the whole lock needed reset) There are a lot of stairs and elevators so we left all of most of our luggage in the hall, hoping it would be safe. It We went to dinner unshowered after driving all day. They were very friendly, but didn’t offer any kind of consideration on the price or extended check out even when I asked. For that reason, I’ll never stay there again. Location is great, but for that price I would hope for more of a hotel experience versus an Airbnb.

Food is excellent and some of the best in the area. Great place for a date or a large gathering. You won’t be disappointed.

Rooms: The room was fantastic. Very comfy setup with self check in rooms. The bed was very comfy and the aesthetic was quite pleasing.Walkability: This place was right in the heart of Jacksonville and walking distance to most places in the area. We didn’t have to take our car anywhere once we got settled.Food drinks: The restaurant was quite amazing. We got the crisp duck and the rabbit gnocchi. The duck was fried to perfection and this gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had! Their drinks were also amazing. We were helped by Michael, Dani, and Justin. All of them were so thorough and kind. They made our experience above and beyond. Also, Heather at the Wine bar was the sweetest! So pleased to have met everyone here!

Wow. Absolutely just ... Wow! Even if you can't afford it every night, make it an anniversary or holiday spot! Everything was awesome!
