Carmines Pie House - Jacksonville

I really like this independent pizza place. Buy through the pane or have a full cake. Also various Italian pastas. Today I had Jumbo wings. I prefer bread and they were crisp and big and hot. The coating is not seasoned, but I tried the honey garlic sauce on the side and it was tasteful. Good service and good food.

Loves the big boy Mac and cheese, it has been eating for years. But don't order it unless you are ready, very full and very sleepy. I have a very great appetite and can usually have a lot of food, but this meal always happens to my butt and it is always worth it.

Carmines has the best pizza in town with a long shot!! The deep plate meat pizza with filled cheese crust is sooo good here. They also serve Angry Orchard for the design, which is a big plus for me. The service is always excellent – they are fast, friendly and helpful! I have visited several times and I have never waited for as long as I would usually expect to wait for deep plates of pizza. Prices are great in terms of quality of food and service. Also her music playlist rocks; definitely a good combination of classic hits and modern pop, sometimes with a good cover in the mix. Overall, my experiences here were 100% positive.

Was really good food and customer service will definitely be back. Only bad thing was lid was not on marinara sauce and I spilled it all over me transfer it to bag. Wings were amazing. Cheese flanks were good, but you only get 3. 10” Deep dish is much for 2-4 people if you are more than pizza.

I love this place, just made my first visit. We were greeted at the front door, and got to choose our seat. I ordered S'ghetti w/ butter no sauce for my 2 y/o and the chicken pesto penne for myself. It was so tasty and the portion was huge! I love the separate kids menu. The ambience is really nice with the Ibiza mix playing is the back ground. I'll be back for desert!
