Burgerfi - Jacksonville

Really impressed with the burgers. Fresh, juicy, well-seasoned, and don't taste of fast-food. Shakes are tasty, too.

A little cheaper Five Guys alternative. Excellent burgers, cajun fries, and service. Still expensive as Five Guys but amazing.

I’ve been to numerous burger fries in Florida and as the rest of them always quality food, friendly staff, and a very clean dining room. I will be visiting this one every time I am in downtown Jacksonville.

I like Burger! So at any time I can go to a new Burgerplatz, I'm all for it! Now, Burger Fi is not really new. It was founded in 2011. But it's new to me, and until a month ago I never heard of the place. But I travelled through Jacksonville on my way to Orlando today and it was the perfect day to visit BF. The three in our party all ordered Speck Cheeseburger, but with different specifications. I came with two patches, the others got one. And there were differences in grilled onions vs. raw onion vs. no onion, tomatoes vs. no tomatoes, etc. But the basic structure was the same: quality ground beef, American cheese and bacon between two rolls. But this is the same building that everyone else has for a bacon Cheeseburger, so what is the difference? The difference is in quality. The meat is natural Angus beef, the bacon is thick and crispy, and the cheese melts perfectly over the beef patty. The beef is boiled directly, not dried like a few places. And the products are fresh and of the highest quality. The burger is therefore a basic bacon cheeseburger, but the execution is top notch. In addition to burgers we also ordered a family size fry and to share a large onion ring. We had a hard time to decide what we liked best. The onion rings are big! The onion ring is light, reminds me of a beer batter, and the onion slices are thick. The onion is boiled everywhere, but not overcooked. If you enjoy tasting onion in your onion rings, then you will probably like these. I have, like everyone in our group. But the frits were also good, obviously fresh made from real potatoes, and I really like that BurgerFi caught them with the furs. They were delicious! Besides the food, the environment was very beautiful and sporty a modern industrial atmosphere. An outdoor terrace is available for seating and half of the tables are shaded. We decided to sit outside and appreciate the shadows on this very hot day! The staff were friendly, and the front counter was patient with us as they considered our order that this was our first visit and we were obviously novices. We did not use the various sauces that BurgerFi offers, nor did we order frozen Custards. However, these options are quite fascinating. Maybe next time. All in all, lunch at BurgerFi was a great experience: friendly, competent staff, pleasant environment, delicious food and clean toilets. I want to visit Jacksonville again.
