I will tell you that the Grouper Tacos are the best I have ever eaten anywhere. I have eaten Tacos from Cobo,Key West California these kick BUTT

The oysters are awesome! 60 cents on Wednesday. Service is always good but it's usually cold bring a jacket.

I’ve been dining here for 55 years and I appreciate what the new owners have done. However, waiting 75 minutes for fried chicken is just unacceptable! Our waiter did his best under the circumstances, but perhaps offering us a complimentary appetizer while we waited would have been a nice gesture. We did order one, and after a long wait, a friend at our table finally requested to speak to the manager. She merely apologized and stated that she was doing her best. Despite it being a table of six, all she offered was to remove the appetizers from our bill, which totaled around $10. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this so-called “discount” and ended up with an additional $20 charge instead! The food is still good, but with such poor management, I can't see this place thriving for much longer. It has been a Jacksonville icon, but if things don’t improve, it may not stay that way.

That was fabulous! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a charming fishing house vibe. It's a great spot to bring the family for a delicious meal, offering a wide variety of seafood and chicken options. During our visit, we particularly enjoyed the fish and utter dishes. I would definitely return!
