O-ku Jacksonville Beach

Wonderful date night at O-Ku Jax Beach We told the waitress that we had no idea what anything was and to just take us through the menu however she thought was best. She asked us a few questions about flavor preferences, (of course everything needed to be gluten free for me)… and then she took over. She brought us the most amazing plates of deliciousness. My chopstick skills are abysmal, but the food was great, the waitress amazing (Ashley) and we had the most wonderful evening. Lots of menu options were marked with a little wheat symbol to denote GF and our waitress said most things could be modified. She poured us little dishes of soy sauce and said it was gluten free before I could even ask!

Great sushi and service. On the list to come back again and again.

Went here for my son’s 17th birthday. We have frequented many sushi restaurants around town and this is by far the greatest experience our family has had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left the staff made us feel welcome. This was our first time dining here so our waiter took plenty of time to go over the menu with us. At one point the manager came over to us to personally say happy birthday to my son and he was treated like royalty. I don’t even know where to start with the food but there was not one complaint whatsoever. Everything was fresh and clean and you could tell they take pride in this. Cheers to the staff of O-ku for making this a great and unique dining experience. We will return

Great experience again. Our second time there and won’t be our last. Nigiri and apps were so fresh, clean tasting and delicious. Hats off to sushi chef Natalie. The service from Ricky was top notch and the manager even stopped by to check in. Overall another great experience, looking forward to the next time!

We were disappointed to learn they don’t allow reservations on the roof top, would be nice if that was explained somewhere on the website. We had a reservation, however were told the rooftop is first come first serve when we arrived.
