Peno Mediterranean Grill - Jacksonville

The food was amazing, colorful and tasteful. I loved the lamb. I have my wife the chicken, which was also brilliant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable. A complaint. I was there at 2:30 and the rice was too long on the steam table and was dry. Except that it was wonderful

My whole family loves this place! We've been coming since their opening. It is one of the only healthier fast food options in Jacksonville. I usually get the chicken gyro shell or chicken skin on a pita. Consistently friendly, efficient service. Can be a cool inside because of all those fans, so bring a little jacket. My only feedback is the women's bath was not very pleasant on my last visit. Could be a deep clean and fresh color or something.

We were quickly greeted by a friendly staff member with a military appearance. Our drinks were promptly served after we placed our order, and our food arrived within 7-10 minutes, which was impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. We ordered the gyro plate, which was served hot and fresh with generous portions of tzatziki sauce and hummus. The salad was also fresh, with large chunks of feta cheese, and we especially enjoyed the Zilantro sauce from the sauce bar. The chicken kebab was flavorful, with fresh onions and olives. The regular pita bread was also delicious. The staff checked on us multiple times to ensure everything was to our liking, and we were very satisfied with our meal. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Amazing, highly recommended!!! For the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was just so good, so many things I wanted to try, and I just can't wait to go back! We had the chicken gyro shawarma, I couldn't believe how good it was. Her hummus was also fantastic, the flavors are just in place. If you haven't tried yet, do yourself a favor and stop by!

I ordered the casado bowl, which consisted of yellow rice, black beans, tomato and avocado salad, fried plantains, falafel, cilantro and jalapeno hummus, pickled turnips, and extra falafel on the side. Overall, it was tasty for a fast food chain. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable, although there were a few negative employees as well, but that can happen at any restaurant.
