Effina's Tuscan Grille - Jacksonville

I can 't say anything bad about the food. It was fine. But I looked online at the menu and decided to order a Chef 's Salad. It was 13.50. I was charged 18.46. It breaks down like this: The website had the wrong amount. It was actually 14.00. They charged 1.10 for extra dressing (which I didn 't order). 1.51 was the tax charge. There is an 8% gratuity automatically added to all to go orders and also a 3.95% non-cash fee. I have enjoyed Effina 's in the past. But I won 't be going back. If i want a salad, I can get one much better (definitely with more salad to eat) for half the price.

I don't usually call a business out on Facebook for bad service but....me and 2 coworkers went to Effina’s Tuscan Grille for lunch. 45 minutes to get our drinks and order taken. I ordered steak tips. When the manager brought our meals I looked at mine and said Is this the steak tips because what I had looked like a steak. She commented yes its what you ordered.I assumed they for some reason didn't cut it up. It was not cooked correctly and all of our vegetables were cold but again on our lunch with over an hour 15 minutes spent, so we ate it. When the bill came I was charged for a 30. Filet . When I told the manager she said you ate it you can pay for it. When I reminded her I had ask her about the tips she loudly stated she didn't know what I ordered and that the tips were a pasta meal not a veggie meal. I had never ordered it before and we had even joked that the waitress hadnt ask about sides. Anyway I paid it and will never be back!!!!

I love the food from Effina’s but tonight’s steak has a weird taste to it. like rotten) I didn’t even want to risk finishing the whole thing in case it was really rotten since I’m pregnant. And it was missing the mashed potato Food is always great but not just tonight! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

We eat here every year for our wedding anniversary. 11 years of delicious food every time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was great, the service was good. There were two issues with our visit, the prices we were charged did not match the prices we were charged. I ordered an $11.00 sandwich and was charged $12.50. The explanation was the prices were updated but the menu hasn’t been yet. There is also a sign at the entrance that says there is a 4% surcharge if you use a credit card.
