Aplos Simple Mediterranean - Jackson

The pizza at this restaurant is highly sought after, even though I am not a huge pizza fan. The sauce is delicious and the crust is just the right thickness. I usually don't eat pizza crusts, but I make an exception for this place. Whenever I visit my sister, a trip to Aplos is a must. The wings are also fantastic, as well as the gyro (beef lamb.) Another favorite is the rotisserie chicken, perfectly cooked throughout with crispy skin that isn't dry. We usually sit outside in the courtyard, which is a beautiful environment. The sweet tea is excellent and the service is quick. This place is very popular.

I ordered the braided lamb gyro with a side and drink through the website for curb-side service. The food was not as expected - the lamb was not hot or even warm, the pita was not heated, and the salad was dry without any dressing. Additionally, there were no utensils or napkins provided. It was difficult to get in contact with the restaurant as my calls went to voicemail multiple times. I have had better experiences here in the past, but this time was disappointing.

My family and I were traveling out of Texas and decided to stop in Jackson to find somewhere to eat. This restaurant was delightful and the food was excellent! My children really enjoyed it too.

The place was super sweet and eating was very good. the service was absolutely terrible. I paid $4 for a strawberry frozen limonade and they only brought my cup half full drink. for $4? my man specifically asked for no cheese on his packaging because he can't eat it and she brought his food with cheese anyway. he went to tell them about the mistake and he waited for his food for half an hour. the restaurant is quiet small to accommodate for all shops that it gets. there was a nice male waiter, that is it. all terrible service.

Much more quiet and calm this evening. Last night this place was overrun with unruly children totally unsupervised by their selfish parents. So, we postponed and came this evening. I ordered the hummus with vegetables. The hummus was tasty. The veggies, carrots, sweet peppers, and cauliflower were fresh. My daughter had a small Greek salad and pita mozzarella. She said it was good and comparable to Keifers' pita mozzarella.
