I am not a big hat carrier, but I like bars, so I have chosen this joint on the basis of this factor. My burrito, as always, began with the rice from which I was not given a large amount. I had hoped that the lack of rice meant more meat, but that was not the case br>/ there were two kinds of pulled pigs, but only one listed on the menu, so I asked the difference. I could not understand the accent of the foreign lady and so asked again, but still not managed to catch the difference. it was pretty loud, so probably not her fault, I don't have the best hearing anyway. To not sound rude, I just said, il try the half of each. she informed me that this was not an option, something I thought was somewhat strange than I suspect that they are both the same price because only one pig option is listed on the board. the other fillings were the usual ones they get in Burrito sites. I went for medium salsa. the burrito itself was probably the smallest I had on my Mexican trip through london, which was a scandal when the price was about the cursor change.key wise it was in order if I had added some of the spicy sauce they had on the tables. a bit bigger and a few more friendly workers with
Only had churros and were not very good. the teig was tasteless and a bit too crispy (boiled over). the chocolate sauce was okay. we don't go back.
I was deciding between having lunch at this restaurant or Benitos Hat, which is just around the corner. I'm not a big fan of wearing hats, but I do enjoy bars, so I chose this place based on that. My burrito started with a small portion of rice, which was disappointing. I had hoped for more meat to make up for it, but I was confused when I noticed there were two types of pulled pork, only one of which was listed on the menu. I asked the waitress about the difference, but I couldn't understand her accent. I tried to ask again, but it was too loud in the restaurant for me to hear properly. Trying not to sound rude, I asked for half of each type of meat, but was told that wasn't an option. I found this odd, especially since both options seemed to be the same price on the menu board. The other fillings in the burrito were standard for a Mexican restaurant. I opted for medium salsa, and although the burrito was smaller than others I had tried in London, it was tasty. Adding some of the spicy sauces available on the tables made it even better. A larger burrito and more friendly staff would have bumped up my rating to a 4 out of 5.
Beautiful opposite where the restaurant is located. friendly staff and a lot of seating area when they are here if it is not packed. they serve certain meat neck, so please check with the staff. also they except student discount, which is a plus.
Good old big and dirty burrito. they are certainly not shy with the ingredients or the portion sizes, so good on them. they will charge them for every little extra. maybe it's a premium burrito price positioning lol. funky music in the background and they also sell alcohol, which is a nice note.
