There were several vegan options available on the menu. The chef was able to accommodate my vegan child, which was greatly appreciated. In addition to vegan desserts like sorbet, they also had vegan beers. Despite being busy, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

After the waiter checked availability for me, I ordered the haggis starter/lite bite from the vegan menu. I was very excited as I had never tried haggis before. However, when it arrived, it turned out to be the main course instead of the lite-bite. I decided to accept it rather than wait for another dish. As I began to eat, I started to worry that there might have been other mistakes with my order, so I called over the waiter. His expression told me immediately that he had served me the meat version instead of the vegan one. He apologized and offered not to charge me for my meal. He also removed a couple of the beers we had before the meal from the bill. Despite his efforts to make amends, I was too upset to stay and ended up leaving without finishing my meal. We paid what was asked and left the restaurant feeling disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in for just a coffee. To my delight, they had four vegan meal options. The burger was delicious, the chips were exceptional, and the chilli was decent - nothing too special, but satisfying after a hike to the fairy pools. A plate of rice and beans was just what I needed. Additionally, they offered soya milk for drinks.

After a long day of traveling, we were thankful to discover a restaurant/bar at our campsite. Though we had to wait a bit, we didn't mind because we were able to enjoy a drink before dinner. The food arrived promptly and was incredibly delicious. The starters, mains, and desserts were all excellent, as was the beautifully decorated interior and live music. The staff was also very friendly.

A really nice place to lunch and dinner, we had a great experience with both. the place itself is very nicely decorated with whiskeys everywhere in the bar area and beautifully spaced tables. the service of the staff was very good. can only recommend if they like bar/pub style restaurants.
